TIKZJAX RENDERER SOURCE AND BUILD MATERIALS

This archive contains third-party rendering code only. It contains no private
application routes, worker orchestration, AI prompts, credentials, or customer data.

The browser renderer is the artisticat1 TikZJax output-single-file fork, commit
ba892f23a2d280d018681a4f88b39f5a8648c7c7 (GPL-3.0-or-later). The DVI converter
source is artisticat1/dvi2html, commit 4684e25d25bc7cbac18cdf3d64ba888f00cbf179.
The TFM parser contains GPL-3.0-or-later PyDVI code, copyright Fabrice Salvaire.
Preserved MIT notices cover the relevant earlier dvi-parser contributions.
Upstream renderer authors: Jim Fowler, Glenn Rice and contributors.

The supplied generated src/tfm/fonts.json is the font metric input from the
public @prinsss/dvi2html 0.0.1 package. It is included so building the JavaScript
does not require a system TeX/font installation. Fonts and compressed TeX inputs
are retained under their respective licenses; readable TeX package text is also
included. The distributed BaKoMa fonts retain their upstream soft-hyphen patch.

REBUILD THE SHIPPED JAVASCRIPT
Use Node.js 24.15.0 and npm. General-purpose build tools may be fetched from npm.
Run the following from this archive's root:

  npm ci --ignore-scripts --prefix upstream/tikzjax
  npm ci --ignore-scripts --prefix upstream/dvi2html
  node rebuild.cjs

The rebuild script compiles the provided DVI source with its included font data,
overlays that component into the renderer dependencies, encodes the supplied
TeX inputs and runs webpack. It deliberately skips upstream postbuild fontforge
steps because the already-patched distributed fonts are supplied unchanged.
Renderer runtime dependency files, notices and version manifests are separately
included under runtime-dependencies/; the build uses these exact files after
installing the general-purpose build tools.

The only local distribution change to upstream JavaScript is the leading license
and source-location comment, added after minification. No proprietary application
logic is added to this renderer. It is loaded as a separate document/worker and
accepts TeX text; it is not bundled together with the application's modules.

The upstream web2js compiler tree and its TeX/e-TeX source/build recipe are also
included for engine provenance. The renderer build uses the prebuilt tex.wasm.gz
and core.dump.gz supplied in the pinned TikZJax tree. Rebuilding those engine
inputs uses the TeX toolchain described in upstream/web2js/README.md; this archive
does not claim bit-for-bit reproducibility of those upstream prebuilt inputs.
